Priority change to existing crossroads

Wexford County Council proposes to undertake a priority change to the crossroads junction at Castledockrell Village (L-2009, L-6145 & L-6146), Enniscorthy.
 
The proposed changes consist of introducing a 4-way STOP at the crossroads of the L-2009, L-6145 & L-6146.
 
These intervention works are part of Low Cost Safety Improvement Measures programme. The objective of the proposed works is to improve safety at the junction & reduce speed in the village.

Drawings are available for inspection on Wexford County Council’s website, Wexford County Council Online Consultation Portal and on display in the offices of Enniscorthy Municipal District, Market Square, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Y21W2V4 from Friday 17th November 2023 to Friday 15th December 2023.
 
It is intended to undertake the proposed works in Quarter 1 2024.
 
The Council will consider any submissions or observations made in writing regarding the proposal. Submissions should be lodged with Enniscorthy Municipal District Roads Team, Enniscorthy Municipal District, Market Square, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Y21W2V4 or by email to emdreception@wexfordcoco.ie to be received by 5.00pm Friday 15th December 2023.

Please note that comments, including names of those making comments, submitted to the Council regarding this process will form part of the statutorily required report to be presented at a meeting of the elected members. Accordingly, they may also appear in the public domain.
