Proposal to install additional and replacement CCTV cameras in New Ross Town

 Wexford Co. Council proposes to install additional and replacement cctv cameras in New Ross Town. The purpose of this is to deter anti-social behaviour and prevent crime, thereby providing a safer environment for the benefit of the whole community.

It is proposed to install 43 CCTV cameras at locations within New Ross Town which have been agreed with An Garda Siochana.

Plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection during normal office hours (9.00 am- 5.00pm) at New Ross Municipal District Office, The Tholsel, Quay Street, New Ross, Co. Wexford. Y34CF64 and New Ross Library, Barrack Lane, New Ross, Co. Wexford.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed scheme may be made in writing to Mick McCormack, District Manager, New Ross Municipal District Office, The Tholsel, Quay Street, New Ross, Co. Wexford or here on the consultation portal, not later than 4pm on the 22nd October 2021.
