The consultation
Variation Number 1 to the Wexford County Development Plan 2022-2028 was made by the Members of Wexford County Council on the 13th July 2026, in accordance with the provisions of Section 58(17) of the Planning and Development Act, 2024 (as amended) (the ‘Act’).
Your views and suggestions
The Variation relates to:
- Implementation of the NPF Implementation: Housing Growth Requirements - Guidelines for Planning Authorities issued under Section 28 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended)
- Introduction of interim Land Use Zoning and Objectives for Enniscorthy Town and New Ross Town to replace expired plans
- The incorporation of additional objectives with regard to the control of developments to which the SEVESO III Directive applies
Outcomes
Copies of the Development Plan, as varied, and associated documents will be available for inspection from 17th August 2026, online at https://consult.wexfordcoco.ie and during normal working hours at the following locations:
