Notice is hereby given that Wexford County Council intends to close the road listed hereunder to vehicular traffic from Wednesday 13 May to Wednesday 22 July 2026 to facilitate Trenching and Ducting Works at Murrintown, Co. Wexford.
Road Closure: L-7098-2 in Murrintown from its junction with L-3042-3 and its junction with L-3041-3
Alternative Route 1: Via L-3041-3, L-3041-2, L-3042-1, L-3042-2 and
L-3042-3
Alternative Route 2: Via L-7096-2, L-7096-1, L-7097-1, R-739-2, L-3042-5 and L-3042-4
Alternative routes will be signposted. Local access will be facilitated.
Any person wishing to object to the closing of this road should lodge the objection in writing via the online portal https://consult.wexfordcoco.ie/ or in hard copy before 12.00 noon on Tuesday 28 April 2026 to the County Secretary, Wexford County Council, County Hall, Wexford.
