Notice is hereby given that Wexford County Council intends to close the road listed hereunder to vehicular traffic from Monday 3 April 2023 to Friday 14 April 2023 to facilitate resurfacing works at School Street, Wexford Town.
Road Closure: R889-1 School Street from its Junction with Francis Street to its junction with Saint Peter’s Square.
Alternative Routes
South bound: From School Street to Francis Street to Waterloo Road to
Grogans Road to School Street via L7536, L7537, L3504 and the R889.
North bound: From School Street to Roches Road to Thomas Street to Talbot Street to Summerhill Road to Belvedere Road to Davitt Road North to Saint John’s Road to Lower John Street to School Street via R889, L3509, L7540, L3504, L3502, L7538, L7541 and the R889.
Alternative routes will be signposted. Local access will be facilitated.
Any person wishing to object to the closing of this road should lodge the objection in writing via the online portal or in hard copy before 12.00 noon on Tuesday 21 March 2023 to the County Secretary, Wexford County Council, County Hall, Wexford.
