TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

 

Notice is hereby given that Wexford County Council intends to close the road listed hereunder to vehicular traffic from 8am to 5pm (Monday to Friday only), from Monday 8 November 2021 to Friday 17 December 2021, to facilitate improvements to the water network on Saint Senan’s Road Enniscorthy.

 

Road Closure:        Saint Senan’s Road, Enniscorthy (R744-2), from its junction with Templeshannon to its junction with the L2020 at Templeshannon.

Alternative Routes

Heavy Goods         Saint Senan's Road to Templeshannon to Seamus Rafter

Vehicles:                Bridge to Blackstoops Roundabout to Scarawalsh Roundabout to Ballydawnmore Roundabout to the Roundabout in Tomnafunshoge to Saint Senan’s Road via the R744, R772, R744, L2510, R772, N30 and the R744.

Local non-HGV:      Saint Senan's Road to Templeshannon to The Shannon to Drumgold Road to Drumgold to Saint Senan’s Road via R744, L2500, L2040, L6056, L6057 and the R744.     

 

Alternative routes will be signposted. Local access will be facilitated.

Any person wishing to object to the closing of this road should lodge the objection in writing via the online portal or in hard copy before 12.00 noon on Monday 18 October 2021 to the County Secretary, Wexford County Council, County Hall, Wexford.
