Notice of preparation of Draft Development Contributions Scheme 2026-2029
Section 48 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 48 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), that Wexford County Council has prepared a Draft Development Contribution Scheme for the period 2026-2029.
Copies of the Draft Development Contribution Scheme will be available for public inspection at the following locations during office hours for a period of 6 weeks from Wednesday 24th of September, 2025 at:
Wexford County Council Office, County Hall, Carricklawn, Wexford
Rosslare Municipal District Office, County Hall, Carricklawn, Wexford
Borough District of Wexford Office, The Bullring, Wexford
Gorey-Kilmuckridge Municipal District Office, Civic Square, The Avenue, Gorey, Co. Wexford
Enniscorthy Municipal District Office, Market Square, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford
New Ross Municipal District Office, The Tholsel, Quay Street, New Ross, Co. Wexford
In addition, the Draft Development Contribution Scheme will be available for inspection online at www.wexfordcoco.ie
Submissions and observations regarding the proposed Draft Development Contribution Scheme may be made in any of the following ways between the 24th of September and 5th of November 2025 inclusive:
In writing and clearly marked “WCC DEVELOPMENT CONTRIBUTION SCHEME 2026-2029” and addressed to; Planning Department, Wexford County Council, County Hall, Carricklawn, Wexford.
By email to planning@wexfordcoco.ie with the subject line being clearly noted as ‘Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2026-2029’.
The closing date for submissions is 5.00pm on Wednesday the 5th of November, 2025.
Note 1: Please make your submission by one medium only (i.e. hard copy/email/online consultation portal). Any submissions/observations made within the period specified will be taken into consideration before the making of the Scheme.
Note 2: Submissions or observations received are subject to public viewing.
The processing of personal data for the purposes of receiving and dealing with submissions is lawful under Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR Regulations and is subject to the Council’s Data Protection Policy.
